Being the whore you want to be is about you having the freedom to choose what you want, while also taking control of your sexual self expression, personal power and personal & sexual boundaries. It is not about irresponsible sexual encounters or relationships. It is independent of whether or not you are in a relationship.
Do you have the courage to live a life according to the belief that sex & pleasure are beautiful, good for you? Perhaps even that sex is natural and indispensable to human health and longevity? That sex is as fundamental to human life as eating, drinking water and sleeping?
Positive self expression & positive sexual self expression, whether it is in social or sexual situations, is the only way to go. It is so crazy how we get in our own way. Our negative thoughts stop us from believing in ourselves. Consider that you are completely valid & fantastic just the way you are. People in general are pretty great. Your body is sexy just the way it is and there are many people out there that think so. Your only job is to go and find them. There are people out there who would love to connect with you and be in your life. There is nothing defective about you, at all.
Even all the weird, complicated, impossible things you do and think are completely valid. Don’t settle for just anything, sexually or otherwise. I would like you to toss your checklists out the window and open your mind and heart to connecting with people who might not fit into a tired, misguided ideal of beauty or success. Figure out what you want and go get it. You get to choose if you will operate from a position of abundance or scarcity. There is more than enough sex, love, fulfillment and fun to go around. Live in an abundance of sex and love. Enjoy both and be free of any feelings of deprivation, neediness or self doubt. Remember that a friend of the moment is no less valuable than one that lasts forever.
Take control of your personal self-expression. Monogamy will continue to thrive as it always has, a perfectly valid choice for those who truly choose it. It’s not much of a choice when you are forbidden to choose anything else. Do take some time to make thoughtful, conscious choices. If you are single, the important thing is to be aware of your needs and wants, so you can go about getting them met with full consciousness. Do not commit yourself to a lifetime of hinting and hoping. When you figure out what you want and ask for it, you’ll be surprised how often the answer is yes
Personal power is signified by a positive attitude and positive state of mind. It is not any type of control. It is based on competence, positive attitude, vision, positive personal qualities, and service to others. Understanding the components of personal power can help you identify specific qualities that you need in order to develop & become a better human being; as well as an effective and ethical leader.
Understanding the components of negative power, whether it be overt or covert, can help you stay away from those that can hurt you, have aggressive tendencies and that exercise the use of domination, coercion, or force to control you. Covert power is based on passive-aggression and is manifested in behaviors indicating weakness, incompetence and self-destructive tendencies that manipulate others in the interpersonal world by arousing their feelings of fear, guilt and anger.
Misuse of personal power can lead you into trouble. Similarly, an awareness of the diverse ways in which individuals utilize covert negative power in their personal relationships has the potential for soothing much of the disharmony and conflict within couples and families. You can have sex with anyone you love. Take a sex positive approach. Be ethical whether you are monogamous, bi sexual or practicing polyamory.
Great sex is understood not by its capacity to fulfill our fantasies, but rather by its ability to so deeply absorb us that thinking is forgotten and we feel the perfection of ourselves, our partner, and of life.
